Sabine Roy Associates, LLC began with the development of elegant executive levels for the corporate head quarters of companies such as American Express, Merrill Lynch and Nomura Securities International in the newly created financial quarter of New York City, the NY Financial center. Soon after came the logical expansion of SRA expertise to the corporate residential building and boutique hotels of Battery Park City in the immediate neighborhood.
Early 2000, the firm moved to Washington, DC to be closer to a growing number of State Department and OBO projects. However, SRAs reputation for achieving a design fusion of commercial cleanliness and residential warmth soon brought the firm to the high-rise residential and corporate projects of Washington, DC.
Today SRA is among the leading firms recognized for an inventive and ageless interior architecture and its decisively new approach to the growing condominium market. The sensitivity of these new interiors has made its mark in the greater Washington area and has been acknowledged by peers as well as clients.

Sabine Roy Associates, LLC is the partnership of a New York architect and a Parisian designer. This creative collaboration started almost three decades ago on projects mostly located in the then new NY Financial Center and Battery Park. It resulted in the birth of some of the most recognized commercial & residential interiors.Since its relocation in the Washington area, SRA has brought a decisively new approach to the rental and condominium market. Its philosophy is the concept of an interior architecture that nests between the clean lines of commercial buildings and the warmth and comfort of residential homes.
The sensitivity of these new interiors has made its mark in the greater Washington and has been acknowledged by peers as well as clients. The company is always challenging itself and pushing towards greater achievements.
