John “Jack” Tintle joined SR/A in July 2023 as a Business Development Associate, bringing with him a decade of experience in the building industry. Jack first developed an interest in buildings and a knack for reading drawings as a summer sales estimator at his uncle’s HVAC equipment supply company while in high school. He went on to study architecture and planning at The Catholic University of America, where his skills and passion for design and digital media grew immensely.
After graduating from CUA in 2017, Jack gained valuable experience with Array Architects as a junior designer working on a dozen laboratories and outpatient care facilities for major healthcare providers including Kaiser Permanente, Children’s National Hospital, and Washington Hospital Center. Jack then spent three and a half years with Gronning Architects working on a variety of different projects, including several restaurants, a concert venue, a dozen multifamily residences, public art installations and custom kitchens and baths. It was there that Jack developed expertise in documentation, project management, regulatory compliance, and business development.
In 2021, Jack began pursuing a master’s degree in real estate development at The University of Maryland’s Colvin Institute and in early 2022, joined the Maryland-based biotech owner’s representation and project management firm, Facility Logix. There he worked hand-in-glove with scientists, design and construction teams, and third-party vendors to design, equip, and deliver new research labs and GMP manufacturing facilities for companies throughout the Northeast, including United Therapeutics and MaxCyte Pharmaceuticals, as well as the Food & Drug Administration. In addition, Jack is also a guest contributor for the local urban issues publication Greater Greater Washington.
At SR/A, Jack intends to leverage his diverse experience, real estate knowledge, and strong interpersonal skills to help target new markets, cultivate client relationships, and drive better business outcomes for our clients. We are happy to welcome Jack to our talented team as we celebrate our 20-year anniversary and forge ahead towards an exciting future.
