First launched in the heart of Bethesda on Wisconsin Avenue after an extensive search (and a serendipitous recommendation from a former client! 🙌🏼) La Collection houses unique furnishings, one-of-a-kind accessories and antiques that bring the perfect “je ne sais quoi” to our projects! This Thursday we’re taking a look back at our twin project properties at Avalon Potomac Yards! Previously known as the Alric before being purchased by AvalonBay for $108 Million in 2016 😲 this multi-family residential project was comprised of two sister buildings that began the transformation of the area into a thriving urban center! 😊 Pictured here is the 701 building that brought together traditional and modern elements to create a mature and sophisticated design! Working with the architects at Bonstra & Haresign, we converted this office building into multi-family residential units that were young, fresh and fun! 🎉 For this particular project we also had the pleasure of designing the gorgeous rooftop! 🌞 Shown here is one of the other beautiful amenity spaces that features vibrant textiles, mixed prints and lots of various seating types to ensure everyone has a place at the George that’s comfortable and unique!
