SR/A was thrilled to be asked to re-envision the design of this waterfront property which we originally delivered back in 2016. At that time, Dock 79 was the forefront of development in DC’s revitalized SE waterfront. Seven years later the neighborhood has exploded and competition for residents has escalated. SR/A’s designers created a plan to give the lobby new life while keeping the original personality of the building and staying within a modest budget. Refining the color palette, regfreshing key wall treatments and updating the FF&E was all that was needed to spark new life in this urban waterfront oasis.
