2025 was a year of meaningful and positive change for SR/A.
As we reimagined the structure of the company and prepared for my move back to France, I was incredibly grateful to see Amy Hinds step so naturally and brilliantly into leading the team. Her guidance has helped reconnect SR/A with the values and spirit on which it was founded.
Nearly 23 years ago, we began as a small group of passionate artists with a simple but ambitious goal: to create designs and projects that genuinely enhance everyday life, supporting well-being, nurturing the environment, and helping people feel happier and more at home. Over the years, we have learned that working as a smaller, closely connected team allows us to stay true to that vision and produce our best work.
Equally important to us is creating a healthy balance between work and life. We believe deeply that while meaningful work is essential (especially when you love what you do), time for family, personal interests, and rest is essential to living well and creating thoughtfully.
This year, SR/A truly reconnected with these founding principles. We worked as a dedicated, talented, and well-rounded team, supported by flexible and personalized schedules that respect both creativity and well-being. We are proud that this approach led to the delivery of beautiful, well-received, and award-winning developments. Just as meaningful were the relationships: reconnecting with longtime clients and welcoming new ones who share our enthusiasm for thoughtful, human-centered design.
As we look ahead to 2026, we feel optimistic and inspired. We look forward to continued close collaboration with our clients and to opening high-quality, carefully crafted residential environments that reflect the values we hold dear.
